Mamta Pranjivan graduated from University of Toronto with a Bachelor of Science, in Pharmacology and Toxicology. She has since worked in medical sales and clinical research and has also worked as a research assistant at Rotman Research Institute, Baycrest.
Her natural curiosity of the yogic sciences and desire for personal development led her to study Hatha and Kundalini yoga. She has shared the yogic teachings and practices instructing yoga classes for seniors at the Wagman Center, Baycrest, as well as instructing private yoga classes.
Imbued with her rich Indian heritage and upbringing within a culture incorporating food, lifestyle and spirituality, Mamta delved into her roots through the study of the Vedic science of health and well-being, Ayurveda. She earned her Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Practice in Ayurvedic Herbal Medicine at Middlesex University, London.
Mamta is enthusiastic about sharing her knowledge of Ayurveda and providing practical guidance on Ayurveda’s health promotion, disease prevention and management approaches.
With her diverse educational and professional background, a collaborative and compassionate spirit, Mamta advocates an integrated approach, leveraging the best of conventional and traditional medicine systems, to create a wholistic patient-focussed health and wellness program.
