Inner Space Techniques, or IST encompass a range of therapeutic and healing techniques based on the inner space of meditation. The techniques are deep and powerful and allow you to access the unconscious parts of your psyche, and to get to know your true self beyond the level of the mind.
The Inner Space Techniques were developed by Dr Samuel Sagan with a team of physicians, psychologists, homeopaths, naturopaths and other health practitioners over a period of 20 years. See the IST website click here
IST allows you you to:
- Address causes rather than symptoms
- Find the source of the problem and release energetic and emotional blockages
- Resolve past-life traumas
- Bring more clarity, stability and joy into your life
Inner Space Technique is a process of regressing back to the source of an issue or incident, when you see & experience how the conditioned behaviour or negative pattern began. The aim is to get to the source of the trauma. It is common to have experiences of early childhood, the womb or even pre-womb and past lives.
In IST there is nothing to believe, it is feeling based, and can bring about intensely acute flashes, sensations, as well as visual or auditory experiences. You feel and experience things as they were or are now. This leads to major releases of latent emotional charge, and profound spiritual realizations.
Even so, the focus of IST is not on the past, but on the present. It aims to bring freedom now from emotional reactions and conditioning. It brings metaphysical opening and emotional healing that can lead to lasting change. For many clients, it heralds a new start in life.
Clearing Therapy
Just as there are physical parasites , there are energetic parasites that affect the layer of life force. This is a concept found in many forms of traditional medicine. Ayurveda, the traditional medicine of India, has one of its eight sections entirely devoted to the study of bhutas, or entities. In acupuncture, among the 361 points of the 14 main meridians, 17 have the word Kuei (meaning “discarnate spirit”) as part of their main or secondary name.
These energies can be responsible for disease and they can have the effect on a person of exacerbating emotions and behavioural patterns: for example, intensifying cravings and draining vitality. When explored using the IST process and then removed, using a specific clearing technique, the client no longer experiences the physical (or emotional) symptoms created by the parasite. For example: vitality is boosted, negative emotional patterns diminish or disappear, cravings or addictions may lessen in intensity or even disappear altogether, feelings of self-confidence and a greater sense of self is restored.
What happens in an IST session?
I will ask you to fill in a client form, from which we will discuss your medical and emotional history before the session. The IST technique can be experienced by most people, even if you are currently taking medication, with the exception of anti-psychotic drugs where I would advise you on an individual basis to see if the session might be beneficial or not.
The process is done lying down. I guide you to an inner space of awareness – the “Inner Space” of IST. The space is a peaceful state of internalization where the mind often becomes quiet and often the more hidden parts of the subconscious become more easily visible. You are encouraged to let go, allow yourself to be held by the space.
The session unfolds through the subtle interaction between client and practitioner, as well as the space itself. It’s this particular space of inner awareness and subtle vision that is the essence of IST
The emphasis is on feeling; not thinking, visualizing or analyzing. It’s not belief that brings transformation, but direct experience.
How many sessions do I need?
Sessions are 90 minutes in length. I recommend a minimum of 3 sessions to get to know the space and there is no maximum amount. Some issues are resolved in a few sessions, but other longer-standing issues are not going to let go that easily. They can require patient work over a period of months or even years.
Though it may seem a tedious process, the working out of the wounds of the past can bring so much more depth of understanding of yourself and your interactions with loved ones, friends and colleagues. It can lead to spontaneous moments of joy, an access to free will and a greater awareness of the human consciousness at large.
